​Sam McNeil, owner of Superior Iron Works is a certified welder who has provided honest, professional service to the Denver Community and throughout the State of Colorado for many years. He has been featured in the Rocky Mountain News and the Boulder Daily Camera News and other publications for the University of Colorado at Boulder Campus Bridge.
 
Sam started welding in high school and began his welding career as a welding instructor for Emily Griffith Opportunity School where he taught since 1979. He then became employed at a sign company where he worked as a welder commissioning billboards. While working for the company he was contacted by Emily Griffith and offered a position as a welding instructor. On the side he would use his parents garage as a welding shop. Later he acquired his own shop where he would design and repair security door.
 
Sam always had a desire to create his own custom hand-made designs and outdoor furniture using recycled material and things found in alleys and at garage sales. Materials that are otherwise headed to scrap yards and landfills.
